Sometimes I Go from one book to the Next. I am Going to Try To Give you all what you want, I odd Don't make a bit of sense Thoughts on Books. Though First I like to whine about my slacking Goal. March 28th 2013 (Before I ever Started this up) My Oldest child has this School Challenge Of reading 100 books in school year. At this Time he was a 1st Grader and Was Hitting Like 500 books. I Gush as any parent would that he was doing so well, That I could never read 500 books in such a short time. He being an awesome mix of me and his father (sometimes this is not so awesome) had decided he was going to challenge my love for books. Out came the mouths of babes. "You can't read 100 books Mommy in a Year!" My Feathers Were Ruffled and I accepted the Challenge. What was I Thinking!!! Okay I can't Tell you If I Read 5 or 25 books From Jan 1st through March 27th 2013. Seriously I never kept count I just figured I did average about 100 books a year. My Brain is simply flighty about how it works with things I enjoy. Lets Face it if your a Mother or a student or Heck a Working Drone... How in the world are we too keep up with the mass of books we devour. This is Where I found a Nifty sight called Shelfari. I got to list a crap loads of Books I plan to read, I think 80% of on that list I have read already. But I figure I would re-read them again and Give My 2 cents in on it all. There is a Section people can see What I am Reading Right this Second. Then the List of Books I have Read. Plus you get to make a Nifty goal for yourself On how many books you like to read for the year. SCORE!!! I set My goal, yes 100 Books. I Figured Summer and all was coming Up I am sure I could Drill them Out! Yes summer came and the Goal was really far from thought as I didn't want to drill out anything I read. I wanted to swim around and lounge in the books I was Reading. So When I started to stamp in the books I have Read today I realized that I have only read 80 books so far. Which is in itself a great amount of books. My Now 2nd Grader son Has totally forgotten the challenge. I could Change the goal to 80 and say YAY I completed my Goal, alas I can't cause I know that is Cheating. So I am going to give Myself a Pat on the back and just continue to see what happens in the next couple weeks. I am Not going to stress about 20 books to make the goal. With all that I am Going to Give the past Three Books I have Read this past week. Sacred Bloodlines (Book 1) By Wendy Owens As of Right Now this Book is Free! This is Also YA Novel or a Coming to Age Novel.
I am a sucker for Free books On Kindle and Read the heck out of them. The Beginning started Nice and Strong. At times for me it seemed a Bit Boring, and At times I wanted to give Gabe a straw and tell him to suck it up. Which He indeed did. In Overall it was a Pleasant Read. I did not Feel I suffered at all reading this, It took me bit longer then I wanted to read it. Though I never really complained about that. This being the first of the series. I felt it had a Nice start. To the Point I am Give it a 4 star Rating, that is just cause when it ended I didn't feel the Need to Grab the Next one in the Series. That is rare for me. I could just being a bit hard on this cause I was suffering through a Head Cold While finishing it up. Though I would Highly Recommend this book to any Young Adult Or Adult who Loves to Read about Angels or the Likes of Angels and Demons. Oh and Magic. It is a time of chaotic hormones.

Now I came across this Gem While I was randomly liking the Heck out of Authors on Facebook. I can't remember Why I was doing this. I just know I did. A Post shown up on my Feed from Sarah Daltry with Her holding a sign. With Her wanting a Xbox one and if so many bought the book she would be able to get one, if such a number bought the book she could get a cookie. Cookies are just as sweet. Now I am Horribly Paraphrasing here. I Have ask Miss Sarah If I can post the picture here. Those Who Like to follow her on Facebook You can like her Author Page Here. If you Like to Follow Pete Clark His Facebook Page is Here. Now Before you go and like/follow them. Do me and Them a favor Don't if your just going to be rude. So I saw this said Post, and Laughed out loud, Really No LOL here I Found it truly Funny and understood it was to Be Funny. Hell I thought is Was one of the Best PR's For a book I have seen in awhile. That Alone made me Buy the Book. Hell the Book could of Been more then A Buck and I would of still Bought it cause of that Post. I was Sure I would Not Get the Book at all. Let Face it I am Not a Gamer. * Edited Part of the Post Miss Sarah Said I could Post the Picture YAY* Please Remember When Reading the Sign Its a JOKE. Not to be taken seriously. Also Remember That Our Beloved Indie Authors Get a small Share of the Book Profits. So If I book is Selling for a buck they get like 30 cents. AGAIN THIS IS A JOKE ITS MEANT TO BE FUNNY NOT TAKEN SERIOUSLY AT ALL
So I had Started Reading This Right after I had Finish a Book, cause it was at the top of the List on my Kindle. I could not fall asleep anyways due to the fact that My nose was leaking worse then a rusty pipe. ( This is where I am going to gush all over my Paper White Kindle) So the book starts right at a midnight release. Which I have never been to one. Don't Think I ever will. (cause I am Lame like that) I was trap, and in a couple hours I was half way through the Book. I had to make the choice of Trying to get some sleep, or Deal with naughty Children half dead. Sleep Won out. Though When I woke up and the kiddos were fed and Content Playing their Video games. The Husband playing His MMO on the PC. I had my Nose back in Backwards Compatible. Several Times I was Laughing out loud, snorting and all kinds of Noises were coming out of me. I was able to understand 90% of references of Shit talk in the Book. I would love to see another book just like this. Seriously It was that Great 5 stars does Not give it justice. Sarah and Pete totally Captured people behind LIVE. If your A gamer or have a loved one who is a Gamer, I HIGHLY Recommend this Book to you. Seriously Help the Girl Out! Help Them Both out!!!

This Book been sitting in my to read pile/list for a bit. It starts Right Off in the best possible way, with you wanting to know what the heck is going on. It Really Never stops. I had this finish in a handful of hours. Not cause it was so short. Just cause it was Totally Worth the Read. Its fast paced and keeps you on your toes. Ends in such a way you have to get the next one to know what it going on! I will so Getting the Next In the series soon. even though its a YA novel (Which I read the heck out of anyways) I found it to be well put together. So Worth it! If you Love YA novels or Have a YA in your Home that is Looking for something to read give this a try. If your American a conversion table of weight. I had to look it up cause I am not smart Like that. :)
